While attending Connecticut College, Chris was discovered by the producers of The Great Space Coaster. Chris would interrupted his studies to take on the role of Danny, Chris would go back to earn his degree in Theater from Connecticut College a few years later.

After The Great Space Coaster ended, Chris would go on to work at the Children’s Television Workshop and Nickelodeon. As production manager at Nickelodeon, he worked on a number of productions including Family Double Dare, Think Fast, Total Panic, Hi Honey, I’m Home, and Outtahere. In 1991, he was named associate producer, and then producer of the hit series Clarissa Explains It All. In 1995, Chris served as executive in charge of development and production at Nick Jr., where he oversaw the development and production of Allegra’s Window, The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss.

Chris would achieve his greatest success as co-creator and executive producer of the preschool phenomenon Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go! series. Chris has also written and composed music for the two Dora the Explorer live stage shows, Dora’s Search for the City of Lost Toys and Dora’s Pirate Adventure, and has written for Go, Diego, Go Live! The Great Jaguar Rescue, all of which have broken box office records.
