Noel attended the theatre department of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn New York, where he majored in puppetry under the supervision of Kermit Love. After graduation Noel would work for The Children’s Television Workshop as a muppet handler and muppeteer on Sesame Street and other Jim Henson productions.
Noel joined the cast of The Great Space Coaster for seasons four and five replacing John Lovelady as Knock Knock The Woodpecker.
Noel is best known for his work as Bear, the gentle and lovable star of the Emmy Award-winning series Disney’s Bear in the Big Blue House and the Disney Channel morning series Breakfast with Bear.
